Lu Chee Leong was appointed to the board of Mikro on 22 October 2008. Mr Lu is a member of both The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom; and The Malaysian Institute of Accountants since September 1995 and August 1996 respectively. Mr Lu joined Kassim Chan & Co., Kota Kinablau (now known as Deloitte Kassim Chan) as an auditor in 1990 and obtained his chartered accountancy in September 2005. Mr Lu then joined Kinabalu Ria Sdn Bhd, Kota Kinabalu, in late 2005, as Group Accountant.

In 1997, Mr Lu joined the local leading telecommunication company as finance manager. Mr Lu is the chairman of the audit committee and a member of the nomination committee.
